Hungarian Rhapsody expo travels to Gomel
GOMEL, 6 December (BelTA) - The exposition “Hungarian Rhapsody. Artists of Szolnok” will open at the museum of the Gomel Palace and Park Ensemble on 6 December, BelTA has learnt.
The exposition will feature more than 30 works of 24 artists of the early 20th century. All the works were created by one of the biggest and most prominent group of artists of Szolnok. The most valuable works include masterpieces of Laszlo Mednyanszky, Ferenc Olgyay, Vilmos Aba-Novak, Istvan Zador.
Szolnok is a unique cultural center of Hungary, home to a group of artists, founded some over 50 years ago.
The exhibition, organized by theJanos Damjanich Museum in Szolnok, the Embassy of Hungary in Belarus and the National Art Museum of Belarus, will run through 22 December.
